Peter W. Cassavechia, 53, PC designer
Peter W. Cassavechia of South Kilcormack Lane, Tucson, Ariz., a personal computer designer for Texas Instruments, died Sunday, March 10, at his home. He was 53 years old and had grown up in Ridgefield.
Born in Norwalk, Mr. Cassavechia was a son of Reno P. Cassavechia of Charlestown, R.I., and the late
Norma F. Walling Cassavechia. He grew up in Ridgefield and graduated in 1967 from Ridgefield High School where he played football and basketball.
Mr. Cassavechia enjoyed boating and gardening.
Besides his father, he is survived by a sister: Wendy Natale of Charlestown, S.C.; two brothers: Gary Cassavechia of Rochester, N.H., and Joseph Cassavechia of Annendale, Va.; a longtime companion, Tania Hutson of Tucson and her sons Kurt and Patrick, and Kurts son, Robbie; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at the St. James Chapel Matunuck in Charlestown. Burial was private.
