Connolly, 41, house restorer
Mark Connolly, 41, of Ridgefield, Victorian home restorer, master carpenter and home remodel specialist died on Thursday, June 9, 2005, at his home.
Mr. Connolly was born in Orange Grove, CA, May 8, 1964, a son of Gillian (Scully) Spencer of New York, NY and the late Thomas H. Connolly.
He was a resident of Scarsdale, NY attending Scarsdale schools and a graduate of Edgemont High School, Greenburgh, NY.
Mr. Connolly trained as a carpenter by completing timber framing course in the Northwest, learned the skill of using Japanese hand tools as he learned the art of restoration of Victorian homes in San Francisco.
His craftsmanship and skill afforded him the opportunity as a master carpenter to restore homes in New Mexico, California and Washington prior to relocating to Ridgefield.
A resident of Ridgefield for the past four years, he was a partner in Safco, a local restoration and remodeling company. Their restoration work appears about the Ridgefield area.
In addition to his mother of New York, NY, a brother Christopher Connolly of New York, NY, an uncle, several aunts and cousins survive him.
A Memorial Service will take place Sunday, June 19, at noon, at the Ridgefield Community Center. Friends and relatives will be received from noon until 4.
